Rekindle Back to Rekindle
Scope and safety

What Rekindle is, and what it is not

Rekindle is intended for informational, educational, and reflective purposes only. It is not therapy, mental health treatment, diagnosis, crisis support, or a substitute for individualized guidance from a qualified psychological, medical, legal, or other professional.

Nothing in Rekindle is intended to tell a reader whether to stay, leave, reconcile, wait, or make a specific relationship decision.

The pause described in the guide is not a recommendation to remain silent, tolerate emotional punishment, stay in harm’s way, or delay seeking help. If a relationship involves abuse, coercion, threats, stalking, control, fear, or immediate danger, the reader should prioritize safety and contact a qualified professional, emergency service, or appropriate local support resource.

Purchasing or reading Rekindle does not create a therapeutic, professional, clinical, or advisory relationship between the reader and Rekindle, its author, or its publisher.

A pause should create room for safety—not ask you to endure its absence.

If you are in immediate danger

Contact your local emergency services. In the United States, dial 911.

If a relationship involves abuse, coercion, or control, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day: call 1-800-799-7233, text START to 88788, or visit thehotline.org.

Outside the United States, contact your local emergency number or an appropriate national support service.

Rekindle is a reflective guide for thinking about a relationship. It is not a crisis service and cannot take the place of the support above.

What the guide does

Rekindle offers reflective perspectives: language for a difficult moment, a way to separate what happened from what you fear it means, and a way to notice patterns, reciprocity, and limits without acting out of urgency. It is a 52-page PDF you read at your own pace.
